The word patriot historically conjures images of those who blazed a path into the American wilderness. Patriots have been willing to do whatever it took to get the job done, cross a continent, build industry, and to defend our liberty and way of life.
Today all sense of normalcy was thrown to the wolves. Patriot is now being defined to mean a variety of social progressive causes. As a natural law constitutional conservative, raised in a traditional God-fearing home, I never thought I would see the day where the social progressive tent which included not only traditional values of civil rights, but also Gay-Lesbian-Transgender "rights" radical feminist rights, climate change, health care intrusion, and ever increasing taxes.
Who are the Patriots in the year 2013? Radical feminists? Radical Gay/Lesbian advocates? Are patriots those who brave the frontier and will do whatever it takes to achieve the goal?
